A. From Turkish Universities:

(i) Students who have completed at least one year at a Turkish University offering Bachelor's degrees (excluding a preparatory year of English if it is required by the University the applicant is transferring from) are eligible to apply if they have successfully completed all their freshman courses and their overall grade point average is 65% or more.

(ii) All applicants are required to provide proof of English Proficiency before they can be enrolled. These students should have taken any one of the tests listed below and obtained the minimum scores indicated. Transfer requests of students who are not proficient in English are not accepted.

(iii) Documents required for application:

a. A completed application form. This form can be obtained from the Bogazici University Registrar's Office.

b. Official transcripts sent directly to the Bogazici University Registrar's Office by the university the applicant is transferring from.

c. An official document indicating the student's disciplinary record at the university he is transferring from.

d. Proof of English Proficiency.

e. ÖSYM Score card.

B. From Foreign Universities:

(i) Students who have studied at least one year at a foreign university offering Bachelor's degrees (excluding a preparatory year of English Language) are eligible

to apply if they have successfully completed the courses they have attended and their overall grade point average is at least 65%.

(ii) All applicants are required to provide proof of English Proficiency before they can be eligible to apply. These students should have taken any one of the tests listed

below and obtained the minimum scores indicated. Transfer requests of students who are not proficient in English are not accepted.

(iii) Documents required for application:

a. A completed application form. This form can be obtained from the Bogazici University Registrar's Office.

b. Official transcripts sent directly to the Bogazici University Registrar's Office by the University the student is transferring from.

c. Proof of English Proficiency.

d. SAT Score card.

Tests Minimum Score

BUEPT - Bogazici University English Proficiency Test 60

This test is administered by the Bogazici University School of Foreign Language three times a year, in May June and November BUEPT is valid for two years.

Test of English as a Foreign Language. This test is given several times a year in many countries by the American Educational Testing Service and is valid for two years.

TOEFL with TWE part is valid only.

ELTS 7

The English Language Testing Service. This test is given by the British Council and is valid for two years.
