ADMISSION
TO THE SUMMER SCHOOL
Bogazici University admits
a limited number of qualified individuals who wish to take advantage
of its programs as Summer School Special Students. To be considered
for admission as special students, candidates must:
(i) Have successfully
completed at least one semester at another institution of higher
education (current student status is not required).
(ii) Meet English language
proficiency standards set by the University Senate.
All applications are
evaluated by the Summer School Coordinating Committee. Application
forms and information can be obtained from the Summer School Office.
Special students are
required to take the same examinations as regular students and a
document indicating the courses taken and grades received is issued
upon request.
It is important to note
that admission to Summer School in no way implies admission to regular
programs.
Summer School students
are allowed a maximum academic load of nine credits. This limitation
applies both to Bogazici University and special students.
Dormitory space is available
for regular and special Summer School students who need housing.
